What to Expect from Our Club

Our programs support every stage of a player’s development, from first time players to elite athletes pursuing college and professional pathways. We are a volunteer-supported, community-driven club offering futbol for everyone, at every level. We provide financial aid to support families and expect participation in fundraising to keep our programs accessible.

Our approach to development focuses on:

Player Pathway

MLS GO → Futures → Premier → Elite

Players progress through the pathway based on development, performance, and readiness. Movement between levels is fluid, and players may be invited to train or compete at higher levels when appropriate.

Tier 1: Elite Level

For players pursuing a high-performance pathway to college and beyond. We have one team per age group, and provide a highly competitive, professional training environment. ALBION SC Nationally offers us multiple national showcases, talent ID opportunities and top-level events

Commitment

• Year round training and competition
• 2 to 3 trainings per week and weekend matches
• National travel plus regional travel (Portland and Eastern Washington)
• Demanding environment focused on long term development

Tier 2: Premier

For strong, motivated players developing toward the Elite level, we offer a competitive, technical, and challenging environment. Our whole club is built on flexibility and we offer girls who are ready multiple opportunities to move into Elite training, match-play and tournaments, as well as exposure to all the training and development ALBION offers.

Commitment

• Year round training and competition
• 2 trainings per week and weekend matches
• Some national and regional travel
• Participation in ALBION showcases and events

Tier 3: Atletico Futures

Futures is our developmental program for young players who are ready for more soccer than a traditional recreational season or MLS Go offers. Led by professional coaches, Futures provides a bridge into competitive play and helps families get to know our club, coaches, and training routines. Players learn our style of play and club methodology in a fun, low‑pressure environment.

Ideal players are motivated learners who can focus at practices and games, want a step beyond recreational soccer, and can attend most trainings and matches.

Commitment

• Open enrollment, no tryouts or cuts
• Team placement based on evaluation
• Minimal travel
• 2 trainings per week

Tier 4: MLS GO 

This is our entry‑level, recreational program for boys and girls who want to learn futbol in a fun, low‑pressure environment. There are no tryouts, no cuts, and kids play with friends while learning basic skills.

Commitment

• Low commitment
• No tryouts, cuts or travel
• Volunteer coaches
• A fun, welcoming environment focused on confidence and basic skill development
