Atletico Futbol Club was founded to give more kids better access to play futbol in our community. Soccer should be the most accessible of sports - a round ball and a flat field are the only requirements - and yet it has become prohibitively expensive for many families to participate. Many clubs and leagues are closed to the kids that would benefit the most from all the sport can offer, due to the growing business pressure of kids’ sports. We want to create opportunity to play futbol at the highest level, so kids can experience the joy of being part of a team, the grit required to succeed, and the character that is needed to be part of a true familia.

Atletico offers opportunity to skilled players from all backgrounds who work hard on and off the field. Grade checks are mandatory, hotel rooms are kept spotless when we travel. Scholarships are available to everyone who has need. We play in MLS Next and EA leagues, and we are competitive with the best of the best nationally.

Atletico players play a modern brand of futbol which promotes frequent decision making and execution opportunities so that players can become intelligent players that are able to be successful in any environment. This is done by frequently playing games in training instead of repetitive drills. Our players share a common understanding of how the game is played at the highest possible levels.

Our club has had remarkable recognition of our success over the last few years, including admission to elite level leagues - EA in 2023, and MLS Next in 2024. Our teams demonstrate how our mission-driven approach can bring home the trophies. We were delighted to join forces in November 2025 with ALBION SC and Bellevue United, offering a complete pathway for players at any stage of their journey.
